Organic B&B. Enjoy the tranquility of the valley just one step away from Granada. Savor a hearty breakfast with organic products and our vegetable garden Discover the hospitality of our family in an Andalusian house just 8 minutes from the center of Granada, 5 minutes from Sierra Nevada Natural Park and 40 minutes from the ski resort or tropical coast of Granada. Leer más We are, Mena, Napolitan geologist, Octavio, Andalusian biologist and our sons Rosa (2 years old) and Pablo (born on 23 april 2013). We speak Spanish, Italian and English. We like to enjoy Granada's cultural life, eat well and enjoy our surroundings. We usually go to Granada by bicycle,we walk and trek in Sierra Nevada and we are passionate about flamenco. Alhendín is a small village near by the river Dílar and the house is in the highest part of town. We have got a beautiful garden of over 1000 m2 with fruit trees and our wonderful vegetable-garden and a Front-tennis court. The Andalusian-style house has a beautiful courtyard of columns, cool and ventilated, and in the most repared corner of the garden, we have a pergola where, thanks to the sunny weather of the region, in the winter at noon you can take the sunshine or have lunch in short sleeves!! The house is divided into two floors and has a tower. The ground floor comprises a kitchen, a bathroom and a large living room with fireplace. We have 4 rooms available: - The room "Lorca" is on the ground floor, with disabled access and bathroom. - The rooms "Trevenque" and "Montevive" are on the first floor and has two single beds and a balcony. - The room "Torreón" is located in the tower and has a double bed surrounded by windows overlooking the garden and mountains. Eventually we can rent the whole house. We are well connected with Granada, thanks to two bus lines that run every 20 minutes to less than 100 meters from home. But if you like to go cycling like us,we lend you the bikes! We organize hiking trails, botanical walks, geological tours, bird watching, mycological hiking, dives underwater on the tropical coast and excursions with cross-country skiing to summits of Sierra Nevada.
